How to spot the hard ticket

Length. Extra mix-ins. A drizzle plus scatter plus garnish. A size you do not pour every cup. If you need the sundae checklist twice, it is a closer even if the NPC is smiling. Stars still apply — the stars page is how you remember the regulars you should not panic-serve at 40%.

Take it or leave it

Take the ticket when Mix has a free blender, Build is not double-queued, your scoring hat is on, and the ring alarm is owned so you can finish without missing the door. Leave it when three chefs are already fighting one blender, when you are mid-Goal “mix 10” on easy cups, or when you just whiffed a pour. A walking closer is a clean save. A 30% closer is a panic you will repeat.

Rank wants average grade, not hero moments. The rank-up guide is explicit: 95% is a promotion, 40% is overtime. Closers amplify both.

Station path for exams

Short walking path. Ticket copied in station order from the stations guide. Size first. Mix-ins in list order. Volume or auto-pour. Mix window — boost only if the ticket still wants a finished blend. Toppings listed only. Serve now. Do not screenshot. Do not add a cherry “because Deluxe did.”

If the wait bar is already red when you start Mix, trash and take a shorter guest. Serving late-and-wrong trains the wrong hands.

Other chefs

Up to 20 players. A closer is not yours if someone else already has the ticket out. Call the step if you are splitting (controls). Do not stand in the blender hitbox. If the lobby is a clip farm, change instance — same advice as a laggy code redeem.

After a patch that adds a named late-night guest, it will be dated on updates. Until then, this page is the rule, not a table of 12 invented surnames. Practice five standard cups, then one long ticket, with the checklist open. That is closer training. Furniture can wait; the shop guide will say so again. Serve, read the grade, then decide if the next long ticket is yours.

Training set that does not lie

Five standard tickets in a quiet instance. Then one long ticket. Then back to standards. If the long ticket is worse than the standards, the problem is Mix or size, not “the closer being unfair.” Fix that on perfect scores before you farm late-night guests for clout. A recording of a 55% closer is a tutorial in what not to do; delete it.

If Goals want volume, do volume on short tickets and park the exam for after the daily is ticked. If Goals want stars, pick a regular you already score well, not the longest ticket in the room.
